1995
- Opened with 3 children and 1 teacher - half day program
- Parent Support Group established
- 1st Parent Training
- Foreign experts conducted a seminar

2000
- Started the 'Voices for Autism' campaign in partnership with India Autism Forum.
- First awareness program over All India Radio.
- Partnered with Karnataka Parents Association for Mentally Retarded Citizens (KPAMRC), a teacher training organisation as a practical training centre.

2005
- Started Early Intervention Program
- Moved into our own building
- National Conference on Autism conducted along with other partner organisations.
2006
- Partnered with Shri Sharada Peetha and Rotary to start the Information and Resource Centre (IRC).

2007
- Started the annual ASHA Oracle Sports Meet
2008
- Partnered with the Information and Resource Centre to start the largest Inter school cultural festival - 'Kalaangana' for children with special needs.
2011
- ASHA among the organisers of the 1st Global Autism Convention 2011.
2012
- Computer Aided Instruction started

2013
- Assessment, Training and Guidance Centre started to provide assessments, parents training and remedial education.
- Establishment of a vocational centre for students over 18 years under a separate administration.
2016
- Worked with the Govt. of Karnataka on the passing of the Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
- ASHA Lead organization to form the Disability NGOs Alliance (DNA)

2018
- Early Intervention mother and child program started.
- Partnered with the Global Autism Project, USA
- ASHA co-hosted the 2nd Global Autism Convention 2018.
- NowGetIn Autism Awareness Campaign launched.

2020
- Autism Online - Parent and professional training in English & Kannada
2021
- Entrepreneurship Development Program for mothers in collaboration with AWAKE (Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka)
2022
- Mainstream Autism Sensitization Program with schools and colleges started

2023
- Research project conducted in Social Robotics
- Started Florence Home Respite Care Service and Assisted Living Training

2024
- Supported the formation of the Women's Self Help Group - Samrudhi Swasahaya Sangha composed of mothers of children with autism.
